'Radar Rat' (originally known as ‘Sonic Rat’). The artwork is depicting a rat standing on its legs holding a listening device. The motive has been interpreted as a comment on the growing presence of surveillance equipment in densily populated urban areas.
Black Acrylic Spray Paint on Brickwork.
The artwork was applied across two vertically stacked bricks (c.f. photographs).

Removal from original location with landlord consent on January 2005 to preserve from restructuring project.

Photographs were taken on January 18th, 2022 to represent the current condition of the piece.
Spray paint was applied across two concrete bricks which were carefully seperated during removal. The brickwork texture contributes to the rugged look of the urban art.
